The X-Series is Tekcel's large-format machine aimed at boat building, aluminium fabrication and acoustic panelling, with a 6200×2400 mm bed. It differs from the ballscrew models by using a 2-module ground helical rack-and-pinion on X and Y for the long travels, with a ballscrew Z. A 28-zone matrix vacuum table with four pumps handles hold-down across the large surface.
