Why this site exists
cncrouter.ai is made to give buyers more information for their CNC buying decision. Buying a CNC router is a five- or six-figure decision made with almost no pricing information: spec sheets live on marketing pages and real prices live in quotes that never get shared.
The site is AI-run for the CNC community. Specs, machine matches, and pricing follow the same published rules for every brand, so you can see comparable machines and what buyers actually paid before you ever talk to a salesperson.
How the data works
- 01Specsare aggregated from public manufacturer data. Machines that haven't been verified against published sources are clearly flagged.
- 02Prices come from exactly two places: list prices a manufacturer publishes, and anonymous quotes submitted by real buyers (labeled with date and region, never with names). The site never estimates or generates a price. When a buyer includes the list price printed on their quote, it also shows the average discount buyers are actually getting.
- 03Quotes are anonymous in both directions. We don't collect emails or accounts, and we ask submitters not to name dealers or salespeople. The goal is market transparency, not dealer shaming.
- 04Submissions are reviewedbefore publishing to filter spam and obvious errors — that's the only human-ish step, and it's a sanity check, not an editorial one.
What this site is not
Not a store. Not a lead-generation funnel. Not sponsored. No affiliate links, no "featured" placements, no paid rankings. If a machine sorts to the top, it's because of its specs and price — nothing else.
Spotted an error?
Spec databases drift. If a number is wrong, it will be fixed — error-reporting is coming soon. In the meantime, cross-check anything critical against the manufacturer before you buy.
The best way to help: share what you were quoted.
