The Tech Z line is SCM's bar-and-console (pod-and-rail) point-to-point machining centre for custom furniture, panel machining and solid-wood joinery, offered in 3-axis to 5-axis builds. The Tech Z5 provides a ~5.2 m X field, an 11 kW HSK-F63 5-axis electrospindle with Vector Axis/Penta digital control, an 18-spindle boring unit (12 vertical + 6 horizontal) and a grooving saw. Console clamping suits long or oversized workpieces beyond a flat nesting table.
