The MM 7 is a full 5-axis fixed-portal machining center for wood, plastics/composites and aluminium/light metal, with the head traveling in X on the portal and an extending workpiece table providing the Y feed. Rack-and-pinion X plus ballscrew Y/Z and hollow-shaft A/C drives are combined in a monoblock structure. Single- or tandem-table versions are offered, and twin-aggregate builds allow parallel 5-axis machining.
