The MDL is Belotti's large high-speed 5-axis platform for milling patterns and prototypes and finishing large moulds and aluminium/composite aerospace parts. Torque-motor heads, linear scales and very rigid structures deliver high accuracy (≤0.01 mm/m) and fine finishes, with electrospindles up to 50 kW and hydraulic rotary-axis clamping. X travel scales from 4 m to 30 m.
